The Pumpkin Festival began almost 30 years ago and has grown into a month-long series of events and activities in October. The largest annual event at CPP, the Pumpkin Fest draws thousands of visitors to pick pumpkins grown on campus.

Every fall for more than 20 years, thousands of people have come to the festival and picked pumpkins out of our patch. The event also features a four-acre corn maze specially grown for the occasion, a petting zoo for the kids, and horse rides. Visitors can play games at student-run booths, listen to live music, taste fresh-squeezed orange juice at the Farm Store or sample delicious treats for sale.

For the first time, it will have an Ag Discovery Lane with exhibits, displays and demonstrations, and includes a Children's Activity Zone with fun stuff like squash tunnels and a hay pyramid.

Pumpkin Patch:
Our Pumpkin Patch is known as one of the largest in California. Over 40,000 Cal Poly grown pumpkins fill the huge patch.

Some locations may have last minute updates due to changing circumstances. Please visit the attraction's website and/or social media before going to double-check that they are open.
