Heaven Hill Farm will throw the farm-style palooza…you throw the pumpkins at the 1st annual Pumpkin Palooza on November 5 & 6, 2019 from 10:00am – 5:00pm. Admission is $5.00/person. Or you can bowl the pumpkins, “chunk” the pumpkins, drop the pumpkins, or throw pumpkin darts all in the name of love for all things pumpkin.
“There’s always so much fun here on the farm throughout the fall that we just don’t want it to end,” claims Martin Theobald, owner of Heaven Hill Farm. “Farmers had such a challenging growing season this year due to the hurricane and heavy rainfall, that we figure an all out party of pure pumpkin destruction is in order to round out the season.”
Hence, the Pumpkin Palooza is born of the Pumpkin Land Festival at Heaven Hill Farm. Bring your “used” pumpkins from your home displays, or allow us to supply you with one from our leftover stash (limited supplies). Then spend the day enjoying acres of exciting and unique pumpkin madness activities like:
Crash Test Pumpkins
Have your pumpkin dropped from a giant boom lift and watch it splatter onto the target below. Go big…the bigger the pumpkin, the better the squash!
Chuck your pumpkin as far as you can into an open field. We’ll mark your spot and at the end of the day the competitor with the furthest throw will be deemed The #1 Pumpkin Chucker.
Reverse Pumpkin Darts
The opposite of darts – here you throw a pumpkin onto a dart covered board and hope to impale the sweet little fruit.
Are you a King-pumpkin? Very similar to regular bowling, but here you send a pumpkin down the alley to knock over the pins. Strike!
Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest
Eat as many pumpkin pies smothered in whipped cream as you can with flare and finesse to earn audience applause and the proud title of Pumpkin Piggy!
Additional great country-style activities will include hayrides, carnival rides, the cornstalk maze, feeding our barnyard buddies, pig races, gem mining, making a dizzying dash through the Vortex Tunnel and so much more.
In honor of our favorite round orange orbs, Heaven Hill Farm will also have tasty pumpkin foods available. Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Tea Bread, Pumpkin Muffins, Pumpkin Soup, Pumpkin Ice Cream & Pumpkin Coffee will all be on the menu.
Theobald adds, “Forget your sadness, it’s pumpkin madness.”
